News anchor and political show host Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa has confirmed joining active politics. He will be contesting for member of Parliament to represent Nansana municipality in the coming elections.
He also said that he was suspended from NBS television for one week after showing up at the NUP political campaigns in the Kawempe North MP bi elections.
In the audio making rounds on social media, Zambaali made it clear that he has always wanted to join politics but was waiting for the right time.
He even said that it has been a long time him fighting for the people but on television. He never had a chance to be a leader on a big platform.

The media personality revealed that people of Nansana should expect him and he is ready to serve them too well.
“Yes I am ready to contest on Nansana municipality and under National Unity Platform. Elections are very brutal and since they are starting very early we need to be much careful and involved. I was also suspended from my work but it’s just for one week I will be back soon,”
