Singer and now a politician a President of the National Peasants Party (NPP) Hajjat Stecia Mayanja has responded to criticism about her past.
She said that ever since she was unveiled as the president of a political party many people had a lot to say about her just because of her past.
The singer revealed that no one knows her past best more than herself but fortunately she has moved on from that all the time and is now living in the future.
According to Stecia Mayanja, leadership is a calling from God and it doesn’t actually focus on someone’s past. Instead it helps a person keep in the good path as they have learnt from their mistakes.
Some people had advised the singer to see her leadership as a business and to focus on that until she achieves something from it.
