Brig Gen Emmanuel Rwashande has spoken about his only mission for contesting as a member of parliament for Lwemiyaga constituency.
He said that he actually needs one term and he will not come to contest again, he will make sure to work for his people as much as he can.
In the primaries elections, Rwashande defeated the long serving member of parliament Theodore Ssekikubo. He had served as MP for 20 years.
According to Rwashande, he didn’t want to become a member of parliament but he was tired of Ssekikubo for representing people and not doing anything on ground.

He said that after this term he is hoping that there will be a young person ready to represent the people and do for them whatever is needed.
“I only need one term. My only mission was to remove Hon. Theodore Ssekikubo from Parliament,”
