Kampala city Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has revealed reasons why he believes that singer King Saha is the right choice for the presidential seat of artistes in Uganda.
The current president of musicians is Eddy Kenzo and very many musicians have supported him saying that he is a good leader and he knows what is good for musicians.
There was a conflict between the federation and the association at the beginning but now they have come together to serve all artistes under one umbrella.
According to Erias Lukwago, the musicians leadership is actually doing so well but it would have done better with King Saha as the president.
“King Saha has the heart and vision to lead the music industry. I believed he was the right choice to represent artists as their president,”. – Lord Mayor Lukwago
It should be noted that King Saha wanted to become the president of musicians but unfortunately the elections didn’t happen due to lack of money at that moment.
