Legendary singer and actress Halima Namakula has responded to film director John Ssegawa’s criticism in the media.
She said that she is not surprised that some people tried to actually put her down after all she knows that not everyone is happy with how she is living her life.
Halima Namakula is one of the first females to have joined the music industry. The other ladies got inspired by her and started following into her footsteps.
Last week she celebrated 50 years in the music industry and the concert was actually very successful with the fact that it was expensive.
However John Ssegawa is among the people that were not happy for her as he said that she should have celebrated being a great actress not an artiste.
