Nigerian star and Grammy winner Burnaboy has finally accepted to perform in Kenya in the coming months.
However it is on a few conditions amongst which he charged them 128M Kenya shillings approximately 3.7 billion uganda shillings.
On top of that he also asked for a private jet and a 5 star hotel with 60 rooms for his crew which he was offered.
Bringing in global stars is not yet a conversation in Uganda given the cost because no promoter is willing to spend that money not knowing if Ugandans can even pay a lot to come and watch someone perform.
Uganda is one of the countries where entertainment is taken seriously and the people alone enjoy themselves to the fullest.
But with the current economy, it is much near impossible for one to bring an international musician as they are very expensive.
