Sheebah Karungi is not holding back, as she made a direct and bold statement aimed at rising artist Ava Peace.
In a cryptic but clear message during a press conference for her upcoming concert, Sheebah urged Ava Peace to focus on creating her own original music.
The callout came after fans and critics alike drew comparisons between Ava Peace and Jowy Landa’s latest release, “No One,” and Sheebah’s unreleased track, “Nobody.”
Many have speculated that the two songs bear striking similarities, prompting the “Nkwatako” hitmaker to step forward with a message to the younger artist.

“Sing your own songs, don’t go in studio and then play with my songs,” Sheebah stated, making sure her words were clear and direct.
Sheebah’s statement was delivered during a press conference announcing her highly anticipated concert, “The Return Of The Queen,” set for August 22, 2025, at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
The diva, who is gearing up to take the stage with a new energy, did not shy away from addressing a variety of topics, including her take-no-prisoners approach to the music industry.
“I am 35, and I’m not going to sugarcoat anything anymore,” she said with confidence. “We are too grown for fakery, foolery, games, and drama. Instead of wasting time, go to studio, make a song, and compete with me genuinely.”
The statement is a stark reminder that Sheebah, now well-established as one of Uganda’s biggest stars, is still very much at the top of her game and will not tolerate any attempts to mimic her style or sound.
Sheebah also addressed ongoing rumors about her alleged beef with Spice Diana, another top Ugandan musician. She clarified the situation, denying any involvement in orchestrating online attacks against Spice Diana.
“I have never paid any blogger a single coin to go and abuse Spice Diana. Because I know that even though they abuse her, it won’t degrade her from her position,” Sheebah explained.
