The late Hon Ssegirinya Muhammad’s personal assistant and now politician Alex Luswa Luwemba has shamelessly returned to National Unity Platform (NUP) after losing in Kawempe North by elections.
They had shun him after breaking the rules when he didn’t get the card. He was told not to contest but he still went ahead and did.
According to Luswa, he contested because he wanted to guard the votes of NUP and that is what he did.
He also claims that he got a phone call from Bobi Wine who appreciated him for being at his best behavior and taking himself so well during all this saga that took place during the elections.
Alex is happy going back to the party and doing any punishment that they are willing to give him.

” I didn’t come to attack National Unity Platform in the election, I came to fight NRM and to protect the ballots of my party NUP, I actually called my president and he thanked me for the mature politics I played.” Luswa Luwemba.
After losing the Kawempe North MP seat to Luyimbazi Nalukoola, Former Muhammad Ssegirinya PA Luswa Luwemba who competed as an Independent candidate is trying to find his way back into the NUP party and said he only came to keep the ballot safe and to support Nalukoola from the side.
