Radio personality Evelyn Mic, real name Evelyn Masika, is set to join Uganda’s hottest radio station, NRG Radio, Olugambo website has exclusively revealed.
This shocking move comes just days after the star broadcaster left Dembe FM, where she became a household name alongside her colleagues Kheem GK and Winnie Succes on the highly popular Twejjewo show.
Evelyn’s departure from Dembe FM’s Evening show left fans wondering what comes next for the media personality who is still working with Spark TV.
Taking to social media, Evelyn broke the news this week with a heartfelt tweet:
“After an incredible journey, I say goodbye to Dembe FM. Grateful for the lessons, laughter, and love shared on and off air. To my listeners and colleagues—thank you for the memories. On to the next chapter, with a heart full of gratitude.”
NRG, launched in January 2023, has already made waves in Uganda’s urban radio scene, quickly becoming a go-to for youth and entertainment lovers across the country.
Its strong to note that Evelyn Mic earlier this year left Galaxy FM under mysterious circumstances in January.
In addition to her radio career, Evelyn who is a an Event show host, has ventured into music. She recently featured in Feffe Busi’s hit song The Interview.
