Renown outspoken politician Nakaseke member of parliament Hon Luttamaguzi has asked Ugandan promoters to stop embarrassing themselves with begging in their own country.
He said that every Ugandan actually pays taxes and is budgeted during the financial year which is always in favour of everyone.
In the financial year, the entertainment sector was allocated some money. However it came off like it was fully about musicians especially the federation led by Eddy Kenzo pushed for that money than any other.
When promoters received information that the money is about to be dropped in the musicians accounts, they started protesting saying that they also need their share as they are part of entertainment sector.

According to Lutamaguzi, promoters can go through the right process to get what they want because being in Guru showing how desperate they are isn’t it.
“I want promoters to stop begging in their own country. They are like other Ugandans that pay taxes and the only way to go is to go through the process to get what is rightfully theirs,”
