Singer Kakunda Rose famously known as Nina Roz is very confident in her bid for Sembabule woman member of parliament in the coming elections 2026.
She said that ever since she announced that she was ready to run, most people got so much excited and they even now refer to her as Mama Sembabule.
In Uganda, celebrities especially musicians have joined politics and some of them have succeeded whole the others have totally failed.
Most of them serve one term and end it but most of them want to serve more although they are not voted back due to lack of showing what they really did in their term.
Few years ago, Nina Roz came out and talked about her struggle with drugs. She had said that she is struggling but was getting all the help she needed.
Nina Roz On Why She Chose To Join Politics
Now after fully healing, the singer is ready to join active politics and she is confident that she is going to win by all means.
The singer is coming under the National Unity Platform (NUP) card that is very competitive and going she will go through the primaries.
