Kawempe North member of Parliament Hon Elias Nalukoola has been thrown out of parliament today as a representative.
The High Court has nullified the election of Luyimbazi Elias Nalukoola as the MP for Kawempe North.
Justice Bernard Namanya declared the seat vacant and ordered the Electoral Commission to organize a fresh election for the constituency.
This happened after his opponent the NRM flag bearer claimed that the votes were rigged and went ahead to take the case to court.
It is not very clear whether the member of parliament is going to fight the case or go ahead and let the government organize new elections.
