Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Sam Omalla is dead.
Omalla, who once served as the Kampala field force commander came to the limelight for his role in quelling the 2011 walk to work protests and other public protests spearheaded veteran oppositon leader Dr Kizza Besigye.
He died at Mulago this morning.
Sam Omara was fighting for his life in hospital following a deadly cancer that has weakened his vital body organs, asks for your prayers.
Unfortunately he hasn’t made it out safely. Nothing has been revealed in the public about his burial and where he will be buried.
